Shaping supply chains
mSE Solutions supports companies in shaping supply chains that are controllable, resilient and effective. We combine strategic thinking with operational execution and take responsibility where decisions must deliver real impact.
Our history
In hindsight, time often seems compressed, yet it has been a long journey. A journey marked by success as well as by external influences and changes that have fundamentally shaped what mSE Solutions is today.
01
Founded in 1989, mSE Solutions remains owned by its founder to this day. From the very beginning, the company did not see itself as a pure consulting firm, but as a partner that takes responsibility, for analysis and concepts as well as for the consistent implementation of jointly developed solutions.
02
In the early years, our focus was on questions of production planning and control: How can companies become faster along their value chain, reduce tied-up capital and at the same time remain reliably available from a customer perspective? Our work ranged from aligning value streams to developing and implementing appropriate tools.
03
Over time, the economic and technological environment changed fundamentally on several occasions. Two developments were particularly influential: the early adoption of end-to-end thinking in supply chain management and, more recently, the growing role of artificial intelligence in planning and scheduling. Both have had a lasting impact on our thinking, our work and our strategic direction.
04
What has remained unchanged is our self-understanding: using experience as a foundation to shape new paths responsibly, together with the people who carry and implement these changes.

CHEP – Digital Process Orchestration with PointOut.Ai
For CHEP, a global leader in pallet and container pooling across 60+ countries, we're building a next-gen digital orchestration layer that connects customers, service centers, carriers, and operations end to end.

Lufthansa Technik – Spare Parts Provisioning with MAX.event and PointOut®
As a business partner of Lufthansa Technik we support the digital backbone of spare parts provisioning for worldwide aircraft maintenance services. The main system, MAX.event plans and controls material availability for complex MRO processes, with PointOut® as a cornerstone of this landscape. Together with LHT's business and IT teams, we design and continuously refine the data and process layer of MAX.event. This includes the structuring of spare parts demand and supply data, the mapping of business rules for material flows, and robust reporting and analysis. We focus our efforts on providing material planners and operational teams with a reliable overview of requirements, stock, and replenishment proposals across locations and time horizons.

Dräger – Rental & Safety System (RSS)
mSE developed the Rental & Safety System (RSS) for Dräger and has been operating it ever since. The platform is web-based and covers all core processes related to renting safety equipment and supporting large shutdown operations. It consists of custom applications and a stable technical foundation.

Lonza: End‑to‑End Service Planning at Global Scale
Lonza, a global CDMO, handles thousands of specialized customer projects every year — from clinical trials to stability studies and commercial production. These projects vary widely in scope and complexity. They come with long lead times, strict regulatory rules, and frequent changes. Our goal at mSE was to move away from disconnected service, capacity, and planning activities and replace them with a real end‑to‑end model that speeds up responses.
