Rental Order Management and Logistics
The system manages the full rental order lifecycle: creating, approving, processing, shipping, returns, and billing. RSS is centralized and integrated with Dräger’s SAP system and logistics. It is implemented in multiple subsidiaries, supporting global integrated ordering processes, shared inventories, and intercompany transfers between locations.
Rental Robots and On-Site Safety Shops
RSS connect automated rental robots and on-site safety shops. This makes gas detection devices and other items available on demand, without manual handovers and with reduced waiting times.The robots operate at about 200 locations worldwide.
Shutdown Management and Operational Planning
For major shutdowns and large operations, RSS provides tools for planning and execution. Up to 1,000 safety personnel can work at the same time across about various locations in Germany and Austria. The system supports shift planning, time tracking, and various planning and forecasting functions.
