mSE flag braves wind and weather at Travemuende Week
2011 saw mSE as a sponsor at Travemuende Week – the top international regatta – for the first time. The mSE flag on the 18 footer could be seen far and wide and braved tough wind and weather conditions. After the 18 footer race had been called off for two days because of stormy winds, the crowd was thrilled to see the regatta sail by just offshore.
The weather god was gracious enough to grant spectators and participants a sunny awards ceremony as well and a final ambient evening topped off by a breathtaking firework display. In total, around 800,000 people came from near and far to the world’s most beautiful regatta.
